Melanie worked in senior marketing management and communications roles for eight years before becoming a freelance strategist and creative/copywriter, in 2004, working with her own clients and with Stephen as a regular Ramper.
Melanie values ideas and insight and is experienced across all aspects of marketing and communications – marketing and brand strategy, research, product management, advertising and communications, internal communications and relationship marketing. As articulate as she is clever, you’ll also find her writing ads, articles, brochures and websites – a self-confessed word addict and copy nut, she just can’t help herself.
Brand engagement has been a big part of her marketing journey. Melanie led the exciting re-branding of Public Trust, completely changing their ‘walk shorts and cardy-wearing image’, and earning Public Trust a place as a finalist in the New Zealand Marketing Awards.
