Whew, what a fortnight.
Let’s start with the good stuff. In fact bloody good stuff.
Brilliant news, with the welcoming of new client partner Trade Me! We’re absolutely rapt to be working with a great bunch of very smart people. Stoked, and already underway on some wonderful work together.
We’re settling in to our new space, just down the road from where we were and sharing with Haines Attract. It’s wonderful to be in such a vibrant space with some pretty awesome people. Fully set up and functioning after only a couple of hours of moving, (thanks BK from Vmax and Jason at Haines) we’re rapt – especially after being left somewhat twisting in the wind re office space. Haines came to our rescue with an option that is more than we could have hoped for. We’re looking forward to getting to know our new roomies, and with an office tradition of new recipe cup cake trials every Monday morning, we’re well on the way to a very happy work place indeed.
And then there’ the not-so-good stuff. Not for us, anyway. Kat’s been head hunted by KiwiBank. More than just a bit sad for us, but a great opportunity for her and we wish her all the best. She’d going to be very hard to replace, but the hunt is on for someone to fill her very big boots. One of the only downsides of having great people in your team is that everyone else wants them too.
Still, the benchmark has been set, and the hunt is on. Thanks for all your efforts, Kat – you wove a fabric through our wee agency that’ll be part of us forever.
So with a busy couple of weeks under our belts and a tinge of sadness in ending one working relationship, it’s all very exciting to be starting to forge new ones too.
Bring on the next fortnight…
