Aroturuki Tamariki – Independent Children’s Monitor

Visual identity development for the organisation that oversees the wellbeing of our tamariki and rangatahi.

We worked with the team at Aroturuki Tamariki to develop a new visual identity system that could be used across a wide range of resources that report on and help enable the oranga tamariki system – the wellbeing of tamariki and rangatahi across Aotearoa.

Through whakatauākī and tohu design, we brought to life the idea of a Tākapu – being able to oversee, dive deep to retrieve and provide valuable insights to those who need them.

Our report designs have a high degree of visual communication, enabling complex stories and trends to be conveyed more quickly and easily.

“Stephen saw an opportunity to make it more meaningful, in a non-salesy way. He saw an opportunity to do something better than what we came to him with. He often does that.”
